Selling reptiles at T's Olde Towne Pet Shop has become quite a canundrum. You see, it is easy to walk into a pet shop and buy any reptile you wish, but will you get the proper care instructions? Will you be told the origin of the specimen you are buying? These things matter in ways that are very important to you and more important to your new pet.

Most people aren't aware of the many needs of the reptiles they are buying. Things like temperature, humidity, UV light, proper diet are just a few things that can cause stress, ill health, or even death if they are not provided. Many reptiles in dealer tanks are wild caught and full of parasites that have proliferated because of the stress of shipping. Many reptiles are now captive bred, but still need the incredibly detailed care to thrive for the many years they deserve. Are you ready to meet these challenges and requirements?

Consequently, you may see the same reptiles at T's Olde Towne Pet Shop for a long time before they are sold. I take placing a reptile with an owner very seriously and there will never be bulk sales of reptiles here. I have chosen to not carry the regular common reptiles seen at other stores, like bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and ball pythons, because I am more interested in aquiring more interesting, challenging reptiles for the more adventurous keeper. Of course, these more common reptiles are always available on request and I will personally hand pick each specimen per request and they will never be blindly bought and shipped to me on a truck.
