Terms of agreement
on purchases:
1. By purchasing any livestock
from T's Pets you assume all responsibility for having appropriate knowledge and appropriate facilities to house livestock.
You agree to do the proper research as to nescessary care and feeding, to include housing needs, diets, water chemistry, and
additional equipment. At our store we have the ability to quiz and to decide when selling livesock is appropriate. Unfortunately
when doing internet sales we have to rely on the integrity of the buyer to hope for a good life for our live pets. I would
ask that you carefully consider your ability to provide a good life for your prospective pet before ordering. And of
course, T's Olde Towne Pet Shop is always available to assist you in gaining knowledge about any of the animals for sale.
2. We have no guarantees
on pets after you recieve them. We do guarantee live delivery. We do guarantee that every living thing sent from our shop
will be healthy and thriving at the time of shipping. But please understand, we do not have any control over what happens
to a pet once it is in the hands of a new owner, we do make ourselves available to help you understand their needs, but once
again, the buyer must know how to take care of their new charges.
3. We will replace any new
pet that is recieved dead. We will take responsibility for any shipper mistakes.
4. All animals recieved dead
on arrival will be replaced with a new animal. Free shipping will be provided on replaced animals. Payment refunds will NOT
be provided, only replacement of livestock. The ONLY exception to this will be when there is no replacement animal availabe
due to rarity or unavailability, at which time a full refund will be made. We will require proof that the animal(s) was/were
dead on arrival which will consist only of a digital picture sent to our e-mail address within 6 hours of delivery. Please
consider this before purchasing. There will be no exceptions. We have a good track record of shipping and have done
so without casualties for some time and if you cannot provide photographic evidence of this then replacement/refunds will
not occur in case of casualties.
5. Take a deep breath after
that uncomfortable issue has been clarified.
6. All shipping is done through
priority mail, USPS. It is not only the most economic way to send livestock, it is by record, the most reliable. I do not
ship any other way unless animal size or special circumstances occur. In this suituation I will make a note on the item's
description. In all other cases, unless noted on the item's description shipping and handling will only be $15.00. In cases
of multiple items being shipped this cost may go up and I will address this on a case by case basis. Shipping will be done
on Monday and I only ship to the continental 48 United States. In most cases priority USPS mail will arrive in 2-3 days. I
do not ship when weather will inhibit the health and well being of livestock, so if you are experiencing a blizzard or wildfire
in your neighborhood then shipping will be delayed and there will be notification of this. I do allow pick up of items at
our store by anyone and will welcome visitors.
